This international restaurant, the heart of Kwanzaa Heights, has been in existence for over 70 years. Billie Holiday, James Baldwin, Langston Hughes, Paul Robeson, and many other luminaries have eaten here. At Harambee Harvest, the famous and the unknown happily mingle.
The cuisine is a combination of food from all over the continent of Africa, America and various other places in the Diaspora. This is a restaurant for the people. It caters to meet everyone’s needs, whether they’re meat eaters, pescatarian, vegetarian, gluten-free or vegan. There are more than 34 dishes on the menu, from gumbo with Nigerian jollof rice to vegan collard greens.
